Very few printed materials have as much of a personal impact as wedding stationery – from save the date cards, to the invites to the seating arrangements, menus and thank you cards, it’s only natural for the bride and groom to want their own mark made on each element. And a lot of the time, that’s what makes wedding stationery so much fun when it suits the couple – the sheer amount of personality that goes into it can create some really memorable and exciting designs. Wedding stationery like this is, of course, very very different from the flyers and leaflets that we’re often used to printing here at Print Express – these have such a personal quality to them that getting the design right is by far the biggest challenge. Of course, because it’s so personal it can also present some pretty big challenges in keeping some couples happy – and so that’s why I’ve brought together a selection of some of my recent favourite examples of wedding stationery.
The first thing you’ll probably notice from this collection of save the date cards, invites, envelopes and more, is the huge variety that’s on show. Some are bold and dazzling, full of colour and vibrancy, while others are muted, minimalist and perhaps more traditional – and each one (hopefully) suits the bride and groom and the style of the ceremony itself. Hopefully you can take some inspiration from this collection and these wedding stationery examples will guide you towards some ideas of your own. As always, if you know of any other examples of wedding stationery that deserve a mention in this post, I’d love to hear from you in the comments.
So there you have it – a collection of my favourite recent wedding stationery discoveries. I hope that you’ve found this roundup to be an interesting and useful source of inspiration, and if you’ve got any wedding invitations, save the date cards, wedding programs or anything that you’d like to share, I’d love to hear from you in the comments below.
